Possibly you are right, africaone. Considering the message is 'no subject' there are now 6 (oops - mine makes 7) responses to it. Maybe a psychological experiment to see for example, who would respond first, and how? Who would eventually not be able to refrain from responding? Who might not be able to not equate it to politics? Who might post the same post twice? Etc., etc. etc. Let's see how it spins out! Cheers! Bandrow

I decided that africaone was right, at least partly, so moved it to the correct board. Adam.

Now wait a minute. I have traveled far and wide to collect some choice Skipper species. Amblyscrites, Hesperia, Polites, Erynnis, Atrytone and Megathymus.
You want real boring bugs, Filth flies, cock roaches and of course the all time favorite, Ticks.

I have some great stories in pursuit of Hesperidae. You ever been to the Green Swamp in eastern North Carolina. Or over Big Jack Mountain in Virginia in pursuit of two rarely encountered Hesperidae, and one flies extremely early in the spring. Or into a great expanse of Pine Savannah for three truly seldom encountered Hesperidae.
I will make a bet that most of you do not have them in your collection.
You know what is borriinnnngggh. Dung Beetles, or fly maggots on a dead possum. Or wait, how about mosquitoes biting your Willy while out collecting Stink Bugs.
Or even worse, trying to take a dump while collecting Black Flies.
I am off to a location in Central Pennsylvania to collect Euphyes bimacula. Who has that Hesperidae in their collection?

Most beetles are either s--t Brown or dirt black. Some Skippers are stunning, other are soft color, all can fly exceedingly fast.
There are a number of ugly bugs and even uglier entomologist!!
