this is the right time and place to discuss the meaning of life.

Interesting - 'no subject' has turned into a debate about whose bugs are the ugliest! I like the melolonthine scarabs - May beetles, etc - probably for the same reason a lot of you like skippers - they're brown and all variations on a theme - but there is a huge number of species and you rarely know exactly what you've caught until you get home and dissect and identify them. And I really like dung beetles - lots of species and plenty with spectacular color... and how many of your skippers will readily come to pig poop instead of you having to chase them? And as for the statement: "You know what is borriinnnngggh. Dung Beetles, or fly maggots on a dead possum. Or wait, how about mosquitoes biting your Willy while out collecting Stink Bugs. Or even worse, trying to take a dump while collecting Black Flies." I'm a bit concerned about how much time leptraps spends in the field with his pants down!! Cheers all! Bandrow

How much time do I spend in the field with my pants down? It depends on how many NABA folks I encounter who are complaining about my collecting Hesperidae and then I drop my drawers And shoot them the Moon.
My wife was looking over my shoulder while I am writing this and her comment:
"That's gotta be a full moon! And God forbid if you break wind...."
My wife knows me......
And now for my threat: Some of you guys need to be nice to me And watch your comments or no more beetles or wasps/hornets from my traps...
And speaking of traps, I am off to the Waffle House and then to check my traps.
