I have an ex-pupae pair of Papilio weymeri [/img]from the early 1980's...These were part of a swap deal (which included a female Delias salvini) for a load of Delias aruna aruna that I bred out in our living room !! The female measures 138mm across and the male 116mm Barry

Papilio weymeri is extremely common on Los Negros. The funny thing is that they are there in all stages of development simultaneously. While you swing away at adults flying through the bushes, you see eggs and pupae on their abundant food plant. Very fun butterfly to catch, though they fly in heavy cover instead of out in the open. Hard to get a good swing at them for the most part.
