Have any neotropical lepidoptera which you need identified? I can help. Just send me pictures of your mystery specimens and I'll see what I can do. Regards, Caleb Caleb Magness, Rhondonia, Brazil, sector1404@live.com

A quick comment on reply #4; the last ID can't be correct as anchisiades is a Papilio, not a Parides. Having looked at the photo in the link I would be very hesitant to even decide which genus this specimen belongs to, as the photo is too low resolution and the butterfly is at a very difficult angle.
Adam.

Adam. You're right about that... Silly me... Although, I have seen that butterfly labeled as Parides Anchisiades as well as Papilio Anchisiades before... I'm confused.

That last one (Parides anchisiades?) looks a bit like Parides tros??? If you look carefully it seems to have long tails, and it has the red HW patches and greenish FW patches. Not sure though.... Timothy

Timothy Perhaps, but like Adam said. The photo is too low resolution and the butterfly is at a difficult angle. At this point, it could be anything.
