Yes it was early in the season around mid may, very hot day, the field where I caught it is very small but for some reason yields quite a few abberations, the one thing I can say about the locality is that no matter how hot and dry the weather has been the ground is always saturated, the following also came from the same small field

Ringlet butterfly Aphantopus hyperantus ab arete, I have taken 3 of these in that small field
