Thanos, I gave you the Exalt. I don't know why it was taken away. I had been absent from the site for a while so I don't know what all has been going on. I had one but it was taken away for some reason unknown to me.

Example: As I said in my above post here,the time that my karma went from -7 to -8(it was the same time you had posted here in this thread), in the 'users online list' I had seen that were appearing : 'africaone,arrowhead and 1 invisible user(ME)'. (NOT,for example,2 invisible users,so to take the possibility to have an invisible smiter at that time..!). After that post of you(I mean the reply #10 in this thread),in the 'users online' list were appearing 'arrowhead and 1 invisible user(again me)',while your name was not appearing neither in this list,nor in the list 'active users during the last 24 hours',BUT..: in the 'active users during the last 24 hours' the number of invisible users that were appearing to be recently online had been increased from 4 to 5...This means(for sure) that you had turned on the choice 'stay invisible' of your profil and you went offline(or logout) immediately after that post of you(so I was not able to see '2 invisible users' -me and you- in the 'users online' list,during the few seconds that you were online as invisible!).If not,as you had posted here just a few minutes ago,your nickname would appear first in this list 'active users during the last 24 hours' that time.(Now,obviously you have turned off the invisible choice,as you are visible in the lists).SO: The circumstances..sometimes..especially if there are only very few members online and 1 or 0 invisible users (shown in the 'users online' list)..make it generally easy to conclude about the smiter or the exalter,if you see that,that exact period of time,your karma changes....AND: as,when my karma went from -8 to -7 only the arrowhead and 1 invisible user(me) were online,then,the ONLY possibility is that HE(arrowhead) was the one who exalted me(he also confirms this in his above post)  !And also,according to my above personal records in these lists and your post in that exact time,I find that the only possible person that smited me at that time is you.. (Oh,and a small detail of no significance,but just for being completed: I didn't refer at all to the number of guests shown also in these lists,cause,as known and obvious,they are not able neither to post nor to affect the karma of a member here - only the members can do it). (PS: Last post here - it's time to pin/spread some nice specimens and soon to post some photos in my favourite section of 'show your favourite specimen'  ). |

I don't see any reason for a person to be invisible, other than not be detected as a "smiter". Therefor i conclude that everyone that is invisible in this forum is a SMITER!!!!!!

Hello. Since I have returned to Insectnet I have not read any posts that I would consider smiting. It seems to be a method of exhibiting dislike towards certain individuals as I received one exaltation, then had that nixed. After admitting to exalting another member my karma went down again to a negative 1, probabably soon to be negative zero. As Clark mentioned, it's nothing to worry about and my understanding is this whole smite or exalt business is not his (Clark's ) doing but a part of the new Proboards site.
Anyhow I wish to apologize for opening this can of worms, being I was the originator of the thread. I was merely curious. Maybe I deserve some more smites for starting this thread (ha ha!)

It was not you arrowhead that anybody had a problem with. Just check the Karma ratings and you will see where the problem lies I will now not go into this with rather lengthy and boring comments like Thanos did above, I have a hobby and better stuff to do. Edit: from 4 to -7, haha, now it looks like I am the problem, you are a funny guy Thanos but you really need to grow up, it would be about time. |

Well,firstly I took as a joke your comment: '1 from me,Thanos'.But I checked that EVERY TIME you were online,you were smitting me ! My karma had become -20 recently and it seems that you were enjoying it..I still can't understand the reason of your many smites against me.Do we have a personal problem and I don't know it?
SO,I just sent you a personal message,so to ask you to stop it,and as a warning,cause I didn't like to start smitting you,too.BUT: you didn't give me any reply,and,in addition,you continued to smite me..So,now,don't cry..! You're the child,not me.Anyway,I will not post anything more in this thread,and I wouldn't post even this comment,but your behaviour was challenging.
(btw: most of your smites,you didn't get from me,but from other people,after your sudden ironic post '1 from me,Thanos' ).

It seems that the only people who have any interest at all in this "karma" business are the children who are arguing in this thread. It's yet another thing for certain people to argue about.
