This individual responded to my Want to Buy ad asking for Dryocampa rubicunda pupa and offered pupae to me for 3.50 each. I sent the money by paypal as the seller said they take paypal. That was on the 23rd of December. I have emailed them multiple times but they do not answer me. I am concerned that I was scammed.

Hmmm ... always be suspicious of people who respond to "want" ads, maybe they are busy over the festive season, but if they don't reply within one week from now I recommend sending them an e-mail stating that you "will open a case with Paypal, which would give them a bad reputation". If they still don't respond then you should do exactly that and claim your money back.

Sabien responded and it was the reason Adam expected, he was waiting for the Holidays to pass so they wouldn't get stuck in the mail.

Sabien responded and it was the reason Adam expected, he was waiting for the Holidays to pass so they wouldn't get stuck in the mail. Smart man. I sent a package that was totally destroyed by USPS. |

One time, despite instructions not to, they left my package out in direct sunlight. My poor pupae were cooked. |

Update:
Sabien Howladter aka Lukas Schutz is a scammer. It's been over a month since he claimed he sent the package. I have filed a dispute and hope to see my money returned soon.
