How come the second label doesn’t say “130 m”?

Your specimens are superbly mounted. I was unaware that you collected Microlepidoptera. They are not cold weather moths. Did you collect them in your house?
The overnight low on Tuesday was 57°. I only have four Bait Traps set out. I collected about 40 moths and several Polygonia comma and Polygonia interrogationis which I let fly.
Most of the moths were Lithophane, several Metaxaglea. I also to a single Feralia major. All black, no green at all.
Tonight however, the low of 18° is expected. No Leps tonight.

Indeed, they emerged in my apartment. I suppose I had bring pupa with some vegetables or plant.
From time to time I do collect some micros but usually when I have the chance to mount them right away, working on papered micros is a nightmare.

Ah, I didn't pick up that the texture at the bottom of the labels is the same as the pinning material and not the label itself.

I used to live in an apartment in Hamilton that was probably around the same size. It was easy to keep warm and it meant that the density of insects (intentionally kept insects) in my living quarters was high!
