Other hobbies? Okay: I have an aquarium with some simple fish, it was the one from my son but when he left home for studying, I kept it and love it.
My main interest is also astronomy. Here we have some good telescopes, and, maybe nobodoy knows, in Göttingen Gauss lived here. Also, the first data through a cable the managed . And we have the most nobel prize winners in graves / population . Ha.
I am also interested in all kind of science by reading. I once tried to collect meterorites but find living materials much more interesting. I have some but small one from the moon and from mars . ( Not by apollo mission but from meterorites )
Furthermode, I collected postcards from my home town espesially my grandparents had a hotel and their own postcards in the 20ies. I bought many as my mother was getting demented and so I had something to talk about.
I also have fake money from
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Bernhardas the factory in which the paper was made is near to my hometown. I think it is the only fake money one can possess for legal but it has a really very very bad background.
So now I am going to collect 500 EUR bank notes, if anyone wants to send one or two as a gift, I can give you my adress. And of course, I am collecting bad jokes.

The aunt killer
I killed my aunt,
My aunt was old and weak,
I had stayed with her
And dug into the box.
There I found golden piles,
Also found a lot on papers,
And heard the old aunt puffing
Pity and tenderness.
What good is it that she still hives -
Night it was all around me -,
I pushed the dagger into her intestines,
The aunt did not wheeze anymore.
The money was hard to carry,
Much harder the aunt yet.
I grabbed her by the collar, shaking
And pushed her into the deep cellar hole.
I killed my aunt,
My aunt was old and weak,
But you, O judge, you seek
My blooming youth - youth after.
