I never bought the more recent stuff. In the 70's I played with the toys. Most were opened and I received real value (to me) of playing and imagining with them. The ones I played with exceeded the value than the ones I did not. I gave many of them away to a child who enjoyed them and I received value from that as well. Ty

There seems to be a problem in the processing of the mother tongue, English. We can take it one word at a time, no problem. Beware of pop quizzes in front of others, though.

Ivhavexalways been amazed by the shear beauty of bird wings, Morphos and Charaxinae. However, 99.9% of of the specimens in my collection were collected by Yours Truly. Many of them I have had the opportunity to raise from ova, larvae and pupae.
I attempt one major collecting trip each year. Many to remote areas out West, especially, South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming (Especially Killpecker Dunes), Idaho, Colorado, Texas, New Mexico, Utah and Arizona. And I have an absolute blast taking them. I learn from the specimens I collect. I am not an aesthetic collector.
If given the choice of a month long collecting trip to Ecuador or Colorado. Rocky Mountains, here I come.
However, to each his own. I will admit, I like looking at other Lepidopterist collections of exotic Lepidoptera.
