Hi, I'm from Spain (Madrid), and today i found this little bug (2-5 mm // 1/4 - 1/8 "). At first i thought it could be a baby little bug, but after a little research, I think I'm completley wrong. Could you help me to know what insect is? Thanks! Attachments:

This is an adult hemipteran bug, probably someone here can give a more accurate identification than I can.
Adam.

Get rid of those bugs as soon as possible. Call exterminators because the bugs will increase in number and then it might become difficult for you to get rid of them. Professionals like xxxx are experts and will try their best to control them. These may be a "nuisance pest" in a dwelling but are not harmful and I doubt they could reproduce indoors.

Greetings, As Adam stated, this is a species of 'true bug' in the Order Heteroptera. I believe it is in the Family Pentatomidae, the stink bugs, or in a Family very close to it. I cannot see the mouthparts in any of the images, but I would suspect that this one is a plant feeder (some are predatory on other insects) and is most likely just an adventive that found it's way inside. I wouldn't worry about it - and the response about calling an exterminator right away sounds like an exterminator himself trying to drum up unwarranted business with scare tactics, or maybe just an extreme insectaphobe in a panic! Cheers! Bandrow

We get regular spam posts every so often, usually resurrecting old threads about some sort of potential pests with a link to what presumably is a pest eradicator company (I have never clicked the links). All such posts get deleted and the poster (always their first ever post on the forum) gets banned and deleted as a member. Yesterday alandmor quoted the spammer, so after deleting the original post and banning the spammer I also edited the quote to remove the link. Adam.
