I am using imgur for the first time, and I have done all the steps to insert an image. There are question marks where I try to insert images, and they end up not showing the images after I post. Am I doing anything incorrectly?

Don't use the "insert image" icon in the forum reply window. In imgur.com click on the image you want to post, and if you see a list of links on the right click 'copy' next to the "BBCode (message boards & forums)" link then just paste the link in your post where you want the image to appear. If you don't see the links (for instance if you open the image in a new window) click the V at top right of the image and a dropdown menu will appear. Click 'Get Share Links' and copy the "BBCode (Forums)" link and paste it in the post.
