hello, please help me identify this insect.
it is often found in bedrooms on my 2nd floor but I've never seen one on the 1st floor. usually my family only went to 2nd floor when we're going to sleep so I've always found this insect at night before bed and I've never seen or notice it when waking up in the morning. It rarely show up, probably I only notice it laying upside down on the floor near the bed half-dead 2 times in a month so I never thought much about it. but 3 days ago I found 1 of it lay half dead on my pillow...and I also found 2 or 3 of them dead on the floor below the headboard then I cleaned my room. sadly, today at 10 PM I found another one on my pillow so I changed all my bed sheets and clean my room once again, remove the headboard out of my room and place my bed in the middle of my bedroom (not in contact with any wall), sweep my room, spray all of the corner with insect repellent and put camphor in every corner - then I went to sleep only to wake up 1 AM in the morning finding this little xxx crawling on my arm on my bed.
a few months ago I've also noticed sometimes there'd be dead little round bug (prob only 0.1 /0.2 cm) in similar color to this on my bedroom too but at that time I only thought that it was a bettle and didn't really think it was harmful. Until I find this one and think that it might be the grown up version of that little round bug.
size is about 0.6 cm or 0.2 inch. color is reddish brown rather similar to roach. it's lower body have stripes, and it has long legs and 2 antenna.
I live in Jakarta - Indonesia, South East Asia - it's hot and humid here. 30-32 celsius during the day and 25-26 celsius during the night.
Is this insect harmful or dangerous ? and do you have any advice on how to complely eradicate it or prevent it from showing up on my room ?
