Hello There, I was recently dissecting a daisy ( Leucanthemum superbum) which I cut from my garden. Before cutting it in half vertically, I noticed extremely small brown insects (almost dots) crawling out of the plant. It seemed as though some were flying, but I am unsure. I examined them under a microscope and will provide photos below. Killing them was extremely difficult, as they could not be squished (and I did not want to kill more than one or two). I was thinking that perhaps these were net winged but I'm unsure, or maybe a type of lice? The plant was healthy and they did not appear to damage the plant, but I am curious as to the type of insect I found (I actually found a larger species as well, but they were much larger). Location: North York, Toronto, Ontario, Canada in Sunny Garden Date: September 6, 2019 (temperature was warm) Size & Color: Brown, aprox. 0.5mm in size (length) if not less. I've attached photos from my microscope examination. The quality isn't the greatest as the microscope isn't excellent and quality was reduced by the phone. They're definitely acceptable. If the images don't work, they're all here on imgur: imgur.com/a/gWpYy85Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

It does appear to be an insect, as it seems to have 3 pairs of legs and probably wings folded over the abdomen. Sorry I cannot say more than that. I expect someone here will have more information for you.
Adam.

It looks like a flower thrips, order Thysanoptera.
