My location in New Jersey, USA
The condition of the home is clean, time of year is the end of summer.
I have been finding one of these crawling on my leg as I am doing computer work. I have no idea what it is. I know it's a long shot form the photo but they are very small. Any help would be much appreciated.

I think you are correct. I saw one of the little things jump, my roommate has a cat and we are going to give him a flea bath and then take care of the home. Thanks again..
