I have a close friend visiting me from Akure [sic] Nigeria. I know and trust him well and have known him for a few years. He asked me about Nigerian rules for export of insects to send to me. Please anyone direct me to paperwork or costs. It would be nice to have a trusted African supplier even if a novice.

He should go to the environment ministry in Lagos and get a license. He will have to pay off a few officials. When exporting he should be prepared to pay off some customs junkies, permit or no permit. If the police get wind of it they will need their palms greased as well. Everyone in the food chain gets a handout. It’s Nigeria.
