A few days ago I got a few bites on my arm that grew into itchy red bumps. I saw a tiny insect two days ago that hopped off the bed in the same location. I assumed it would probably be a flea then. Washed all the bedding and carpets, and sprayed some anti-flea spray around.. This morning I found this tiny creature hiding under my laptop in bed. It was very small - 2-3 mm. And I believe that might be some blood above it. It did not hop anywhere though. The antiflea spray killed it instantly. Any ideas if they might be related? Like another stage of a flea? Or something completely different? Many thanks in advance. We live in Norway if that might be of importance. Pictures (of the tiny one this morning): www.flickr.com/gp/185500657@N05/U44GRQ

Those look like the larval form of a dermestid beetle. They are found in pretty much every house but usually not seen. They don't bite but the hair can cause some irritation. They also don't jump. Fleas larvae look more like caterpillars and can bite. But it could also be bed bugs, mosquitoes, etc. You could lay some tape sticky side up around your bed (where you won't step in it) and see what you catch. Thanks so much for the tips! The domestid beetle really seems like the perfect match to this one! I will definitely try what you suggested.
