I have an imperial moth caterpillar that has very recently turned to its pupal stage, and I'm wondering if I have to store it a certain way. Do I have to make a little chamber for it, or should I just leave it in a regular bare bottom container until it turns into an adult? I'm new to keeping moths.

For some reason, I don't see anything insect related when I click the links. It's also asking me to log into something immediately after clicking the links.

You’re right.......should not put links. So......just go to his site (maybe pay a membership fee) and check out the two pages referenced to. Btw......the fees are quite reasonable and surely worth it.

I was traveling to check Bait Traps this AM. I have not checked three (3) of them in 10 or 12 days. I saw two groups of Sassafras trees with some Wild Cherry mixed that had numerous cocoons of Callosamia promethea.
The site has lots of traffic. I will get them Sunday early AM on my way to church.
We had a very hard freeze with lots of heavy wind on 20 November and as a result emptied most of the trees of their leaves.
My past Ohio experience I only found the cocoons of two species, Hyalophora cecropia and Callosamia promethea, to be common. I occasionally find a cocoon or two Antheraea polyphemus.
