Hi, I'm Sky and I'm looking into butterfly keeping! After doing a bit of research I'm pretty sure I want to do it, maybe a few butterflies and simply as a hobby. I've been looking into the whole thing on and off for a few years, and since now I have an enclosure for one (it's fabric, I've heard that plastic and glass isn't good for them), it's an even greater possibility that I'll be starting this! My only question now would be if I should put some dirt and plants in their enclosures? I think I already know what I'll be doing for feeding (assuming the breed I get does eat), but what do you feed your butterflies? Thank youu, and have a good day! :3 Sky

How big of an enclosure are you talking about? Do you simply want to catch butterflies and release them into the enclosure to fly about, breed and feed?

I’ve never done the kits. Don’t they come with artificial food for the larva?
