Hello everyone, I’m curious about the flight times of Euryalus this year in SoCal. I raised a few Euryalus last year and want to take them out of cold storage now, but I’m a bit confused on the wild populations. I checked BAMONA and iNaturalist for historical reports and the peaks in my area were about March-April but those were a few years back. Just yesterday someone found some Euryalus in San Diego and I am a bit concerned if I might be late to the party!
Is it true that Euryalus flies and peak at 45-55 F at night? If so, my local mountain ranges have been hitting the low 70s and peaking at 50s around 1AM-4AM where Euryalus has been found before in January and March during the past few years.
Im currently a highschool student that lives around Pasadena CA.
Any information would be very, very appreciated!
Kind Regards, Jason
