A lot of individual variation in Ehphaedra. My thought is that it is not E uniformis, but could be E piriformis. Also possibly consider E permixtum. Not sure, back to you.

Hi there, I'm pretty sure that this is a piriformis M - whilst piriformis is very variable, and uniformis even more so, one apparently stable characteristic is the shape and placement of the FW subapical band in piriformis - ie it is piriform (pear-shaped, like a conference pear!) being narrow at the costa and enlarged in spaces 4 and 3. On the verso, this band crosses right through and obliterates the submarginal black spots. In uniformis, the band tends to be of a more even width (but not always!) and rarely, if ever gets so close to the outer margin. It seems to me also that uniformis' verso tends to look more brownish yellow, or clearly brown, whereas piriformis tends to be paler yellow without the brown tinge. However, as with many species of Euphaedra, identification tends to rely on a number of characters, rather than one definitive characteristic.

Hi there.
My initial feeling is piriformis M, but would need to see the underside to be more sure...
