Well, I finally got some silicone putty and some easy craft resin and finally got to preserve all these dead bugs! Some of these specimens are over 10 years old, waiting and waiting.

These are not the best casts. They came out with a strange texture with a glassy look and the air bubbles didn't make them any better. But I learned that the bubbles happened cause I was stirring too fast and my next batch is looking good! These will not be sold, but will be free gifts with every purchase of my bug plushies like my clumsy wheel bug, who doesn't like standing up for some reason.
