I’d love to see a pic with it stretched out and well lit if possible. It is not a bug, but imo, seems to be a Hymenoptera. My very early tendencies would lead me along the lines of a cricket hunter wasp or a spider wasp. How long is it? What part of the country do you live in? Did it have any metallic coloration to it? Again....my guess is just that based on the image provided and I’m not sure. Better pics might beget better ID.
