Hi, can anyone help identify this pest that has appeared in some quantity in our Toronto refrigerator? They primarily appeared at the corners of the fridge door and in the weatherstripping of the door, and also moving into the freezer where they dies in a little pile. We removed, examined, and cleaned or pitched all food and packaged all produce in plastic bags. And cleaned the entire fridge inside and out. New ones are appearing, we assume from inside the walls of the fridge. They are absolutely tiny, just beige dots. So they can hide and go pretty much anywhere. They walk pretty fast for their size but don't really jump around and don't fly. There are no sources outside of the fridge. We have been getting weekly produce deliveries so our best guess is they came from one of those, but they aren't visible on any of the produce we have now. They seem to want to leave the cold of the fridge, and to make their way upward to be on top of top of the fridge if they can. Searching the net, the only thing we could find that seemed similar was booklice, but that doesn't really seem right either. This is the best pic we could manage. It looks like he may have little grasshopper legs but we just can't get the image crisper due to his size. Anyone have thoughts on what it is and how we might eliminate him and his cousins? ibb.co/cYmYYSq
