What is this bug? Is it a fly or a wasp? There were at least 6 or 7 that started to swarm after I killed another wasp that was crawling around with no wings. Once I stepped back I saw that they were trying to eat or fly away with the bug I had killed. imgur.com/a/NATPyNe

They most likely males trying to mate with wingless female wasp. You killed it dead, well done, bravo.

It's a wasp, don't know enough about wasps to say more.

It may belong to family Scoliidae.
