Hey, I discovered this large bug tonight and I’m in a blind panic I’ve got cockroaches. Could I have some help identifying it please, please tell me it’s not a cockroach. I’m based in the Midlands UK. Link below of photo ibb.co/grph8RP

You're in luck, it's not a cockroach. The picture is a little fuzzy but it looks like a beetle in the family Cerambycidae. They are called "longhorn beetles" as adults and round headed wood borers as larvae.

Or is it a problem? I’ve got a prewar blue brick house if that helps? Thanks again.
