I live in Switzerland near Bern and I found this caterpillar on the spindle tree in my garden. I often encounter caterpillars in my garden, but this one is 10-12cm long and I don't think it is native to Switzerland. I could not find any information to identify it, so I was hoping someone here might be able to help me.
The Caterpillar is mostly yellow with green and black stripes and back dots. It has a small yellow tail with lots of bumps and six black legs under its mouth.
