I found these weird bugs in my flat which i was hoping I could get help identifying. They are at the top of the wall where it meets the ceiling and I have a swollen bite on my leg which I think may be connected. They are very small, this is a zoomed in photo.

Well, it’s not a bug (insect), it is some sort of mites

It's not a spider, I think Paul K has it right, it's some mite critter. Spiders have, more distinct body segments, that one is just a head and a body. Personally, I think that contrary to what a lot of people believe, spiders do not go running about biting people, think about it- to a spider, sitting on your leg or other body part, that spider is seeing a flat plain of territory, not a food source, now, if you roll over in bed and annoy a spider, you might get a bite. You are a food source however, for mites, ticks, fleas and other bloodsuckers.
