I have been getting bitten by a very small insects for more than 2 months now. I thought they were no-see-ums but these probably are much tinier. I can barely see them like a dot once in a while. they bite my palms and soles. And if I cover them then they bite my eyes and ears. The bite is not painful but a little itchy (I take a lot of anti-histamines for my allergies). I am not even sure if they are sucking blood or just eating skin cells. Mostly they are around my soles. And no other parts (like regular skin) they even go close to.
And regarding the insecticide I tried everything including co2 traps, mosquito nets with tiniest holes etc the only thing that works for a while is Picaridin . If I spray my skin with it they dont' bother me for maximum of 1 or 2 hours. (DEET sprays work for only 10 minutes at best).
Others at home are not getting bitten but they see them around my soles. (I am a clean guy who takes bath at least once a day keep myself healthy and hygienic). It started only recently. From time to time I was trying to remember if I did anything unusual around the time when this started and I can't think of any. I think something that I am giving off is attracting these insects. They follow me (or may be new ones) wherever I go even shopping. And once in a few days I see a swarms of them around me.
I am really desperate at this point. really appreciate if someone can help me identify this bug
