Hi there, I was doing a thorough cleaning of my bedroom today, and after a while I noticed on my bedsheets striped larvae slowly moving around. Quite small, a few millimetres long probably. I'd never seen that before, I snapped a photo quickly before folding the bedsheets in an attempt to trap them (I'm not fond of insects): photos.app.goo.gl/BL5aBm8XjLp4JjJp8 (I have just noticed there seems to be a smaller, white larvae in the top left as well?) I suspect the larvae actually come from a pile of clothes I had put on the side to repair/give away for a loooong time. I noticed the larvae just after I put the clothes on the bed. Additional side information: I recently found in other clothes some small white insects with wings that were dead, I assume they're moths. And I got some insect bites the other night but they seemed like mosquito bites. Any help regarding what the larvae are and how I can make sure they're gone would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance! I'm already planning to go to the dry cleaner tomorrow to wash my duvet and pillows, just in case...

Looks like Dermestid beetle larva. Eats biological matter, probably including wool.

I did a thorough cleaning and got some carpet beetle and moth killing spray to try to make sure no eggs or larvae were left behind! 😅 I don't enjoy killing insects but I couldn't stand the idea of sleeping around them sprawling in my clothes 😩 Anyway, thanks again, your answer was a relief!

Update to this: Last night I found a little beetle-like insect, dark with spots if I remember correctly. It was still alive but I put in the bin and didn't think much of it. But this morning when I woke up I noticed two other insects dead on the floor near my bed. When looking closely I found another striped larvae, seemingly dead as well. Here are photos: photos.app.goo.gl/bjha3EqCC2xmyrE87I'm a bit worried that the beetles seem like bed bugs. Do you think they are still carpet beetles? Or could it be a mix? I'll do another round of vacuum and bug killing spray but do you think I need to take other measures to eradicate them?.. thank you!
