Location: Jamestown, Rhode Island, United States. I have two crested geckos, each in their own separate terrarium. Today I discovered a tiny insect crawling around, it was extremely small, and I had to use my phone's zoom to really be able to see it. I then used my phone camera to look around my gecko terrariums and found that they are everywhere. I have placed both geckos in temporary habitats and am working to clean both their terrariums thoroughly. Currently, both geckos seem normal, but what are these insects, and can they be harmful? I have linked two videos I took of them, one inside the terrarium around an area they seem to center. The other is of the ones I found when I took out the leftover dried cricket from today and placed it in a clear bin. Some are white and look like aphids, but there are also some black and brown ones of different colors and forms. in terrarium: imgur.com/a/PXFTW3Rclear bin: imgur.com/a/sZiSvjs

The videos are nice, and someone might identify these quickly, but sometimes a still picture is better. My guess- not harmful to the lizards and they are simply living in the substrate, or came in on the crickets. Even humans crawl with small things we don't even see... hopefully.
Unless you're like the guy at my doctor's office who came in and loudly said "I think I've got crabs" I actually helped the guy in the door because he was using a walker. Luckily I had no physical contact with him.
