It’s about 5- 7mm. I keep finding them around the house, sometimes crawling on the floor, on the walls, base boards. Is it a gnat or black fly? It may be leaving som gnarly bites on me as well!

If you're being bitten by a gnat or midge, I'd think you'd see one on your arm doing it's thing.
