The pictures are rather unclear, but they look like minute cockroaches.

Ah, yes that's much clearer. When I clicked the + to enlarge it I could see that it's actually a moth in one of the families known as microlepidoptera for obvious reasons.
Maybe someone here knows what it is, but I am not sure.
Some species of these live in less than 1cm long grey silk bags as larvae, and crawl about on the walls and floor eating scraps or fungus, eventually hatching as moths. Perhaps you have seen them on your walls. There is one species which is very common here in Chiang Mai and I have them in my house too. I never tried to identify them though.
