Well, I still think that you are a pretty fortunate fellow in having secured some examples of both sexes.
Some of us haven't a single specimen of desirable, generally expensive, or hard to find species.
Sometimes, one just has to accept that A! quality is simply out of reach (or reason) on some given items.
A somewhat lesser specimen at least shows that it lived a life once; and was not simply bred and immediately dispatched without ever flying or having a few precious moments in the sunlight...
Well done !

Insect fairs, this is why I like to get there early. The sense of excitement at having no idea whats going to be for sale and having cash to spend that you have saved up all year.

Recently, I heard about the availability of one of these in a collection. After a personal look it met my tough standards and is now a proud acquisition ! Never thought I would EVER have chance to secure one.

Never thought I would EVER have chance to secure one. Very nice! I too, hope to eventually obtain a specimen of fournierae. In my opinion, it's one of the most beautiful Charaxes, in both verso and recto.
