Greetings,
Your beetle is a species in the family Brentidae, the "primitive weevils". The family is a close relative of the family Curculionidae, the weevils. Brentids are fairly diverse in the tropics and if they behave as our few species in the U.S. do, would typically be found under bark of dead trees.
Surprisingly, these beetles are pretty decent fliers, and are an odd sight when on the wing. I watched some Brentus anchorago flying in the Florida Keys and at first I wasn't sure what I was looking at. That species flies with the abdomen slightly tipped upward, with the pronotum strongly flexed upward, and with the elongate head tipped down so that it is parallel with the abdomen. Sort of in the shape of a flying letter 'Z'...
Cheers! Bandrow

I know I have two of these someplace. I am not sure where I collected them. I think in South Florida. I thought they were a "Walking Stick"...?

Hi Leroy,
If your bugs look like the one in the image, you certainly have Brentus anchorago - fairly common in deep South Florida and the Keys. I found them on and under the bark of dead gumbo limbo and saw them flying around during the day. Don't remember getting any at lights, but this was in the early 1990's and I barely remember 2018.
Arrhenodes minutus - the "oak timberworm" is our most common and widespread species, and comes to lights. It can also be found on the ends of cut logs of oak.
Our third species is Heterobrenthus texanus and it only occurs rarely in the Lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas.
If you want to collect "entire families" in the U.S., the brentids would be a candidate, but getting that Heterobrenthus might take you a decade or two!
Cheers! Bandrow

Malo, I think you are saying the photo link doesn't work, but when I open it I can see the beetle. Please post in English as this is a worldwide forum, and most of us cannot understand Portuguese, thank you. Adam.
