Your beetle looks like a species of Dermestidae. Here in the U.S. we have a species called the 'black carpet beetle' - Attagenus brunneus - that looks a lot like yours. Also, A. brunneus is an introduced species in N.A., native to the Palearctic, so it could be close to what you have.
Google "carpet beetles" or "dermestid beetles" - there is plenty of information about them. In general, they are scavengers on natural plant or animal materials, and can be devastating to unmonitored insect collections...
