Hi everyone, I live in a mediterranean place, and I found these weird worms for the first time in 20 years. They are very very small, but can grow up to 1 centimeter. They're COVERED in dust and you can barely see the insect inside, it's like they have a cocoon around them, they never move except when it's dark, and they seem attached to the walls or hanging from them. I found 4 big ones in my bedroom two weeks ago but i got rid of them ans thought i was fine, but now i just found a teeny tiny one crawling on the wall and I'm desperate again. Please does anyone know what they are and how to get rid of them!

It must be a bagworm. However, what you call an adult is just a fully grown larva. A small moth will hatch from the pupa inside the full size bag and fly around laying eggs to produce the next generation of tiny bagworms. The moths may only be about half a cm across so you may not have noticed them.

I found them in my bedroom and I'm trying to sanitize everything this morning cause I'm scared of insects and i even couldn't sleep there last night. My room is pretty clean, i don't know where they come from and how to prevent them in the future.
