Greetings,
The small long-horned beetle is a species of Agapanthia. It's a Palearctic genus with quite a few species...
Happy New Years!!
Cheers! Bandrow

Thanks to everyone who helped put names to all the specimens I only started collecting about 3 months ago after seeing an amazing Goliath Beetle at a curiosity store. This identification process has been a great learning curve for me. I'm a landscape designer by trade and have a good horticultural knowledge so pronouncing and remembering Latin names isn't too difficult. Most of all ,I found entomology is more than just the insects but more of a whole historic worldwide biodiversity lesson and I'm loving it. I really do appreciate all the advice and help from this forum. Al. BTW I have another one of these cases to plunder
