I am awaiting a large shipment of specimens from Peru, in it is this specimen with more spatulate and larger tails, above it is a typical specimen. Has anyone else observed this phenomenon in this species before?

There is one similar in a frame but apart from that I can't see any.

Yeah, not common, but not unique. I saw a couple of examples.
