Hello, I have found this insect on my cat numerous times and I thought it was, initially, a flea. However, upon researching some more into what fleas look like, I cannot see a similarity other than the fact that it hasn’t got wings and it jumps! I have bought some house plants recently and maybe they come from them?
The thorax is slender and it has 6 legs, I think.
Could anyone help identify this pesky thing? I’ve woken up with bites on my skin for a few weeks now, so I know there’s more, but I want to know if it is a flea or maybe something else.
