My first forum photo. I can't figure out how to get the text where I want. It took a lot of resizing to get this under the 1 megabyte, so I hope it works. Anyway, this is my first Goliathus attempt, the grub began it's pupal phase on 12/12/20. and I just removed the overburden and there was the chamber. The grub was only 34.6 grams when it stopped eating, about a third of what it is supposed to be, but apparently, this is not unheard of in captivity, since reading more, next attempt I'll supplement the recommended dry pellets with moist food, goliatus grubs are carnivores, and probably don't encounter dry food in the wild. Hopefully the next photo, I'll remember to use a lower resolution, and I'll have a dwarf adult, even a small success will be a success. Attachments:

Oh Jeeeeez! I really want to build a set up to breed those. I have an upcoming trip and won't have the time to try until later. That is awesome and please keep us informed on your progress.

I will, information is hard to track down, I've got some bookmarks for a couple good articles on breeding them I can pass on. There's a specific forum for beetle people as well, but Goliathus is still a new one and everyone is learning.
