Hi, I would need a link to some websites about beetle breeding, to be precize ground beetle breeding. If not web, than advice of an experienced breeder, I'm about to purschase 2 males and females and need detailed informations about their care, feeding, enclosure, life cyclus, larvae...so thought link on some website might be easier solution, but if some of You guys have time, Please, be so kind and try to help me. Thanks to all willing to help. Excuse my English

There is another forum- Beetleforum.net that might provide some help in breeding. I know there a number of other beetle discussion groups in the
EU as well-kaeferforum.com for one, it's a German site, but you should be able to translate if you don't read German. Becoming a member and actually
being able to use the site takes a few days, or at least it did for me.

Mcmonigle's book is a good one, some species have more detail than others, but he has his hands in everything. Still it has a place in any beetle breeders library. If you can't find it at Amazon, try Bioquip or Ebay, it should run about 30 or 40 dollars. Okay, so they want 50, maybe that's what I paid for mine. (edit) |
