I would be very interested in obtaining a small series (different sizes with female) of the giant stag beetle (Lucanus elaphus) and a couple or trio of reddish stag beetles (L. capreolus). I can either exchange or buy. Both species seem very widespread in the states, however they seem very difficult to find. Can you please send your offers to: flithops@yahoo.com Regards Filip

If you're still interested in capreolus, I am trying to figure out what to do with a bunch of them. I see 6-10 about every night on my light sheets, so I've stopped collecting them. The problem now, is that they land on the house and eventually succumb to the spray we use to keep the ants/roaches out. Right now I have 6 immobilized on the front porch and get new ones every day or two.

Hey guys. www.usbeetles.com/ is another sight that sometimes has Lucanus elaphus, but I don't think they have any in stock right now. They are based out of Texas. I have ordered a few chrysina gloriosa larva from them and they came in great shape.
