Nice one, managed to get a specimen in Uganda once, but unfortunately some of my collection got destroyed that along with it. where is this one from?

She is from the Tanga region, Tanzania.

i was away at uni, some sort of beetle got in and had a good time, ate a heap of my charaxes from around east and southern africa bummer, re: above post euxanthe i caught in Ug must of been trajanus not tiberius......still was good looking butterfly

ruma...sorry to hear about your specimen losses. Yes, both E. tiberius and E. trajanus look pretty similar and both are beautiful. One could easily mistake them. You're indeed fortunate to have collected any of these yourself Attachments:

Bill - I just received a batch of Tanzanian Leps, yesterday. I do have 2 pairs of lovely A1 E.tiberius available.....and extraordinary Charaxes. Give a buzz, if you ( or anyone you know ) have an interest.

I'm missing that one but it seems like a version of E.trajanus without the grey spots on the hindwings, so I was never too obsessed with it
