Looks a lot like the females of the genus Ceruchus from North America. I'm not a lucanid worker, but I would think that Ceruchus could occur in China as well.

I found a Ceruchus once and it was very similar to this. I should post a pic of that one soon, as I'm nearly done with the unidentified Cerambycids.

Yes,it is a female Ceruchus. I have C.chrysomelinus from Europe in my collection and indeed my female is very similar to this specimen. Check the link below: homepage1.nifty.com/pame-loux/Genus%20Ceruchus.htmAccording to this, a species C.katerinae(Kral,1995) occurs in Sichuan. But I think that our female specimen is of another species,as it has reddish the edges of the pronotum and the apexes of elytra. (She is missing also the antennomeres of the clubs ). Thanos
