Most likely, they are drain fly (also known as moth fly) larvae. You can remove these flies from your home using these traps : amzn.to/4dR2fiM

Could be correct - a dipteran of some sort. Bottom line is this, you have a bacterial film in the water bowl that the larvae are feeding on. Wash and disinfect it - and they will go away. j

The drain fly larvae live on the "biofilms" that form inside the fountains. They do sound rather troublesome to keep clean but you can use these traps at home : amzn.to/4dR2fiM
