Hello, I'm not too sure what the latin name for this Gnat is. They are very small (about three millimetres). I tried looking on google images to see if i could find a match and whilst I did find some specimens that look similar, I could not find any exactly the same, but I'm 95% sure it is in the Cecidomyiidae family. I have a large collection of water loving plants so the soil is always kept moist and these Gnat are always around them. I live in the east midlands of the UK. Hope someone can help. Thanks
