Hi, Im new into longicornes and would like to start collection focused on some nice colourfull group, I was thinking first about prioninae, but fe macrodontia would ruin my wallet, Im looking for some beautifull but less financially demanding group, time to time I can afford to pay 150 usd for a specimen, but wouldnt like it to be a rule for each one. Thanks a lot for Your suggestions, feel free, advice me please what You think might be an interesting group for me. I prefer tropical ones, Ill be buying of of an ebay, fairs, but also planning a trips to foreign countries. Thank You very much for help

Laminae is a very large subfamily of Cerambycidae with an enormous variety of sizes and colors, and includes genera such as Batocera, Anoplophora, Sphingnotus and Petrognatha, just to name a few.

You could always at some of the sellers here at Insectnet, or try searching Ebay. Without a guide book, species names or pictures, you'd have trouble knowing what you were getting. Sounds like you could have a lot of research ahead.
