I have just moved into a new house and have found carpet moths, i have treated them, but today sound one egg on the floorboard, im not sure it is in keeping with carpet moth eggs, it is a perfect shiny golden sphere shape. Can anyone help identify it. Also all the carpets are now gone and each room has been treated, it is just exposed floorboards currently. Thanks Links below for photos

That is no moth egg. You didn't post your location, here in the Pacific Northwest of the USA, I'd probably call that a slug egg, what ever it is, it's unlikely an insect egg, it may be some other Arthropod or invertebrate.
