Hello everybody! I'm looking for some help. Can somebody please help me identify these little insects that I found in my bedroom? They look ant-like, but are very small (around 2-4 milimeters) and have a bit longer tails than usual ants here. Is it some kind of ant species or something different, maybe termites, because I've also noticed some spots of wood dust under bed and I live in an older house? They are also leaving lots of very itchy (sometimes even painful) bites on skin during night. The bites are sometimes single, sometimes there are lot of bites on one spot, all over body. I found few of them on bed and on other furniture, only in one room in the house and I'm trying to find out what they are, where they are coming from and how to get rid of them. I live in Slovenia, in central-south Europe. imgur.com/QRCZoKP

Other people suggested to me that they might be carpenter ants, but this subfamily of wingless wasps look exactly the same as what I have and after doing a little research on them and comparing, I'm pretty sure those are it.

Wasps belonging to this group are known for having surprisingly painful stings, despite their small size. I myself have been stung by them, once or twice.
